In addition, a deep understanding of the needs and workflows of physicians, nursing, and the entire care team and the outcomes hospitals strive to achieve is essential.

The ideal candidate will have EHR experience and demonstrate excellent closing, lead creation, interpersonal skills, outstanding verbal and written skills, and have demonstrated success in healthcare C-Suite relationship building.

This position will be accountable for acquiring new customers, while maintaining and growing existing revenue within their current client base.Major Responsibilities:Identify, qualify and close opportunities at Health Systems, Hospital and Medical Schools, leading to the achievement of annual Sales quota.

Responsible for managing all aspects of the sales function, including building and managing a robust pipeline, and negotiating and closing client contracts.Establish credibility and build relationships within multiple departments and with decision makers and influencers within the customer organization, including the C-Suite.Provide ongoing quality and value added service to established accounts that is necessary to upsell and renew contract.

Additionally, this will ensure the customer will be a positive referral source.Plan and maintain an efficient and cost effective travel schedule that coordinates and maximizes product exposure for optimal sales opportunities.Remain current on healthcare and health IT industry trends and market activities.Provide management with market feedback toward product, pricing and service enhancements.Prepare and deliver timely and accurate sales forecast reports.Maintain timely and accurate information in CRM systemCollaborate with other Elsevier-CDS sales teams to drive broader CDS and portfolio opportunities
