Divisional Sales Manager

ECCO Safety Group

This is a Full-time position in Atlanta, GA posted June 20, 2021.

The Divisional Sales Manager assumes full responsibilities for increasing sales in the most effective manner for the South East US by getting the products specified by the end user through various methods.

Meet and exceed sales and other designated objectives within the assigned territory including seeking new account opportunities and maintaining awareness of market trends and competition.

Has knowledge of and competitive products including features, customer benefits, functions and competitive impact.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote and create sales of the ECCO product line via daily calls to after-market distributor accounts, fleets, and management of representative agencies.

Responsible for representing ECCO in a professional manner while increasing sales growth and profitability of the region.

Provides sales direction and support to distributors and their field sales people in the form of product training, joint calls, sales meetings, trade shows, leads and quotation follow-up.

Take personal responsibility for maintaining relationships with all Key (largest) Accounts in territory and strives to maintain ECCO customers, and convert competitive customer.

Organize a time and territorial management system to establish priority objectives to insure a high level of service to customers.

Assist Marketing, Customer Service and other sales areas in solving problems and taking advantage of opportunities for all customers.

Report competitive market information to ECCO and respond with requested market information in an accurate and timely manner.

Develop and implement a sales plan for the territory.

Complete necessary paperwork including timely expense forms.

Control expenses and look for ways to increase productivity with available resources.

QUALIFICATIONS
4-year degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Ability to communicate effectively and be a positive change agent to the sales team.

Willing to travel a minimum of 50% of the time.

Ability to trouble shoot and do minor repairs on products.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.)
