Director of Sales

This is a Contract position in Atlanta, GA posted November 10, 2021.

The Director of Sales needs to take responsibility, and first and foremost be passionate about sales and building a successful sales team. You need to have managerial experience and an outstanding track record in sales. Duties will include motivating the sales team, overseeing the sales managers and managing the team’s Goals. The position is measured by, and expected to achieve, all agreed upon revenue and sales goals. This is an executive level position that will report directly to the CRO with responsibility to the COO.


  • Work with the sales to support the closing of deals and expanding existing customer accounts
  • Work with your direct reports – provide mentoring, training and direction
  • Can hire winning teams and motivate them accordingly
  • Achieve sales plan by segment and individual making sure compensation plans create desired behavior
  • Provide reports on the sales team’s execution; address any variances to plan
  • Monitor overall sales pipeline to insure high probability for monthly revenue achievement
  • Be a brand champion and work with Marketing to maximize brand awareness and lead generation possibilities
  • Implement process improvement opportunities so direct reports have more true sales time
  • Responsibility for all sales processes and revenue Overall Management of Sales Team Activity
  • Team pipelines (weekly reviews, mentoring, and identify obstacles which you can help them overcome. Accelerate time to close)
  • Ensure adoption of CRM and that all reporting is done in a timely manner
  • Cross-sell /upsell management of opportunities; definite priorities, offer requisite Training
  • Ensure the sales team can all easily promote our value proposition
  • Review individual performance, ensure everyone’s time is used properly What You Need to Succeed
  • A consultative sales professional with experience in SaaS sales and management of high-velocity teams
  • Natural marketing instincts – knows how to guide new business opportunities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
