This newly created opportunity will partner with Global Business Enterprise (GBE) Vice President(VP) General Managers (GMs) and portfolio offering leaders across all of the Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT) enterprise to drive the implementation and continuous optimization of the product lines’ profitability and associated customer segmentation processes.

Leveraging the 80/20 Pareto principles you will developand execute a strong enterprise-wide management operating system that addresseskey areas such as SKU rationalization, product margin & value realization,inventory optimization and customer experience levels commensurate with a quartilebased strategy.

You will also be responsible for best practice development,training deployment and 80/20 analytical tool adoption across HBT.

This cross-functionalimpact role will interface with offering managers, 80/20 focals, price leaders, technology program managers,finance leads, data analytics and the integrated supply chain as well as other supportfunctions.

You will be accountable for incremental revenuegrowth, targeted margin expansion, inventory optimization and overall portfolio efficiencieswhile improving the customer experience and the adoption of ecommerce by targetcustomer type and product line. 

KeyResponsibilities

  • Drive the effective portfolio lifecycle management of SKUs across the business units and set effective targets and mitigation plans to deliver on all growth & profitability goals
  • Understanding customer segmentation and implementing strategies to delight customers while focusing resources on customers that generate the most value
  • Manage portfolio governance and implement portfolio management from commercialization to manufacturing
  • Partner with GBE VP GMs and offering leaders to drive strategies per the Commercial Excellence playbook particularly on optimizing all aspects of the product lifecycle
  • Support customer satisfaction particularly associated with segmented expected experiences on price, delivery, support by customer quartile
  • Drive the 80/20 program by establishing effective 80/20 management operating systems, reporting and analytical capabilities across the Enterprise
  • Develop a comprehensive training, coaching and business adoption/maturity program for all aspects of 80/20 implementation across the Enterprise
  • Implement business and program team
  • Act as operational focal point for best practices, centralized reporting and skill set development

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 10+ years of experience in product offering management and/or commercial program management

WE VALUE

  • Master Business Administration 
  • Experience on product lifecycle management including launch, pricing, SKU rationalization, end of life sunsetting
  • Technical skill requirements span mechanical, software and electronics
  • Proficiency in data analytics and implementing digitization productivity initiatives
  • Strong program management execution bias and ability to drive initiatives to completion
  • Ability to influence leaders by understanding key objectives, listening and aligning priorities
  • Strategic leadership and effective executive communication skills
  • Effectively work in a matrixed global organization structure.
  • Customer centricity mindset in all decision making (value, quality, availability etc)
  • Breadth of change management experience across multiple/complex programs & portfolios
  • Ideally knowledge of the regulatory and quality requirements for the HBT industry and customers.
