Sales Engineer

Barco

This is a Full-time position in Duluth, GA posted September 14, 2021.

As a Sales Engineer (or “Solution Architect”) you will join our North American Presales team working out of our Barco Duluth (Atlanta, GA) office and act as an expert in delivering our valued ClickShare experience with simplicity and ease of use.

You will be responsible to support the sales organization and the partners/customers with expert know-how on the Barco ClickShare product line through training, demonstration, and technical expertise that support the conversations throughout the customer journey.

Presales Engineer, you support the sales teams with answers to technical and commercial “specialist” questions.

You are the go-to person for specific questions related to product specs, use, and performance.

You support the sales teams in tradeshows, product demos, shoot-outs & the sales process by taking ownership of the best practice in the setup of the ClickShare solution.

You can provide product presentations and training to our customers, partners, and consultants.

You translate customer requirements towards a technical solution leveraging your product expertise and IT (security) domain knowledge.

You assist the sales team in preparing technical proposals for international tenders.

You help customers plan and understand the best ways to utilize and integrate the Clickshare Solution within their network and IT infrastructure.

You collect insights and feedback on our products from customers and partners and feed them back to the product managers and R&D teams – you actively follow-up critical deployments and issues ensuring the right priorities are set.

You proactively support and communicate with customers and partners with an adequate level of information on new products or product updates.

You work on multiple customer accounts simultaneously and in an international environment Education: Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Sciences (BS) or equivalent certification/experience required Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience int the AV industry with a minimum of 2 years of professional AV experience Skills: Technical: IT/AV and/or technical experience required Intermediate understanding of networks and switches Intermediate level troubleshooting skills for Windows/Mac applications and environments, ability to diagnose issues and implement solutions Proficiency in a range of operating systems, primarily Microsoft and/or Linux/UNIX Experience with software, wired and wireless networks Network-based Certifications a plus RTP, RTSP, H264, H265, and encoding knowledge a plus Non-Technical: Excellent poise and presentation skills Ability to grasp new technologies quickly Excellent customer relation skills with reliable judgment and problem-solving skills Possess discipline and integrity to work independently Able to travel up to 25% Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work with many different teams and cultures Self-starter with pride of ownership The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines Skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations Excellent time management and organizational skills Builds a deep understanding of how the product works, what the value proposition of the product is to the customers and how the product is used Is flexible
