This is a Contract position in Atlanta, GA posted November 7, 2021.

ReUse Innovations, Inc. (“ReUse”), is seeking an external sales person to service the greater southeast region of the United States. Sales person is preferably located along the I-75 corridor between Atlanta and Orlando. Candidate should be engaging and outgoing, and comfortable discussing basic technical information in an engineer’s office, working in Excel/Word to get a prospect to return information, chatting with a prospect at a convention, or cold-calling an industrial client. This role may be a good fit for a motivated person able to work 2-3 days a week, with the scheduling flexibility to attend on-site calls as needed. Sales person should have demonstrated experience selling high-value goods or services.
Compensation is entirely commission-based, with the sales person earning a % of the materials for each lead that eventually converts into a sale. It is a contracted, decentralized position, performed from a home office and on the road.
The primary function of this role is to generate warm leads for the ReUse sales team, primarily via cold prospecting. Daily activities include cold-calling, attending conferences, meeting prospects in their office, attending industry events, researching local opportunities, communicating with clients via email, and other related activities. Once a prospect is engaged to the point where they may be considered a lead (e.g. by securing an initial bid, arranging an in-office technical meeting, etc), the lead is transferred to a sales manager, allowing the sales person to resume generating more leads. This is a ReUse Innovations is a company servicing the growing market of decentralized wastewater treatment and wastewater recycling. We are primarily a technology integrator and project development team, and often also act essentially as a manufacturer, building treatment plants of varying sizes. ReUse targets clients across the public and private sectors, including but not limited to food and beverage manufacturing, agriculture, real estate developers, resorts/casinos, and public municipalities. We have a varied product line, from basic equipment (e.g. screens, pumps, etc) to full-fledged treatment plants.
Sales person will receive initial technical training, on-going technical support from the engineering and design team, on-going sales support from sales team lead, databases of potential prospects, funding for attending conferences and supporting sales activities, sales materials, etc. Sales person will report directly to Sales Team Lead, and will work in conjunction with him to set targets and goals, discuss potential local markets, and review strategies.
