Real Estate Strategy Analyst

This is a Full-time position in Atlanta, GA posted November 9, 2021.

Summary:

The Real Estate Analyst is responsible for providing research and support for real estate operations.

This individual supports the Director of Real Estate, Real Estate Managers in the field, and cross-functional business partners to manage the existing real estate portfolio.

This position will require a willingness to travel as needed (10%).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Contributes to the development and implementation of departmental procedures and controls to more effectively monitor projects, prospective deal pipelines and improve processes
Provides in-depth analysis and prepare for weekly meetings
Assists with the negotiation of purchase and lease agreements as it relates to surplus property, existing stores, and Distribution Centers
Supports the sales and dispositions team in ongoing management of existing assets
Works and collaborates with real estate brokers, developers, end-users, and investors to market and attract buyers for the sale of surplus property
Facilitates lease management with Lease Administrator, including, but not limited to: managing landlord/3rd party requests, post lease termination obligations, rent re-negotiation, and lease amendments/extensions
Facilitates with Legal and Real Estate team on the life-cycle management of assets
Facilitates with Legal, Real Estate, and Construction teams in managing owned real estate
Assists with the negotiation of third party agreements, easements, licenses, and restrictions for existing stores
Maintains an overall knowledge of the processes and procedures within the department
Executes on store action items as determined by internal stakeholders
Maintains a comprehensive understanding of existing stores’ metrics and store performance
Qualifications:

3-5 years Real Estate or related experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in real estate, finance or business-related
Interest in the commercial real estate industry
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with MS Office
Proficient with MS Excel
