Here, you will be a vital contributor to our inspiring, bold mission.nn nn nn POSITION OBJECTIVES: nn nn nnThe position will lead the design and implementation of Takeda R&D talent and leadership development strategies to support a diverse and global organization.nn nn nnThis position will also ensure that the defined enterprise wide talent priorities are are delivered consistently across Takeda R&D and is critical in ensuring that Takedas workforce has the capabilities required to move the business through large scale transformation, growth and change at a rapid pace.nn nn nnHe/She is a key strategic partner who drives the identification and development of the global developmental programs by executing and managing initiatives, projects, events, activities, policies and procedures that promote employee learning, development and career management , engagement and retention.nn nnIn partnership with the business leadership team, business specific HR teams, Global HR Centers of Expertise and Innovation this position will support the development and delivery of business aligned strategic learning and talent initiatives to ensure a robust talent pipeline, promote talent development and enable performance whilst maintaining employee engagement/retention.nn nn nn POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES: nn nn nn Accountabilities & Responsibilities: This leader is responsible for all the areas of Learning, Talent Management, Talent Development and Organisation Capability Building.

-: how we assess,manage performance, develop, promote people, how we ensure we have a diverse pipeline, how we ensure we have the right org capabilities, structure and processes to be successful going forward and how this supports development programs in the R&D.nn nn nn Partnering with the R&D LT and HR Team nn nn nn Talent Management nn Lead the development of Talent Strategy leveraging global frameworks but customized for the Functions context Coordinate the annual talent identification process and lead calibration at talent review meetings.

Build and manage talent analytics to measure talent strategy and impact of talent bench strength and ROI.

Facilitate career moves within and outside of the business unit.

Partner with the Head of Talent Acquisition to ensure good insight of external market to ensure we remain competitive and have good external succession pipelines for critical gaps.

Translate leadership and workforce capability gaps into dynamic and targeted development solutions Leverage the global workforce planning techniques from the Global COEI and deploys across R&D to generate organizational insights.

Works with HR Team to generate insights, identify organisational capability gaps and plan for the future workforce.

nn nn Learning and Development nn Develop and execute learning and development strategy and deployment for targeted professional populations Design talent and learning and development programs to support the needs of R&D and overall Takeda organization and manage the execution and ongoing maintenance/continuous improvement of the programs Integrate analytics to guide & drive future learning and development strategies, needs assessment methodology and approach Build and manage learning analytics to measure learning pull through, impact to our talent bench strength, impact and ROI.

Manage vendor relationships when using external resources for design and execution of programs nn Performance Management nn Provide support and guidance on managing the annual performance management cycle Design and develop solutions in collaboration with the R&D HR team Support the delivery of solutions such as quality conversations nn nn Support for R&D HR Team nn Provide on-going coaching, guidelines and advice to business, upskilling both the leaders and HR.

Help enable HR to deliver on programs and initiatives as needed.

nn nn Partnering with global COEI communities and cross functional partners for: nn Ensuring that all leadership development processes and initiatives are world-class, innovative, and relevant to the business Drive the ongoing continuous improvement and management of all leadership and professional development programs /initiatives Provide Thought Leadership on Talent Management and Organization trends in R&D and within the Pharma industry to ensure the enterprise wide Talent and Organization strategy is shaped accordingly.

Working as part of the COEI community to share best practices, evaluate offerings within their own and other parts of Takeda, and establish across all of business how these can be integrated into enterprise wide/Takeda offerings.

Implement mandated global programs and processes consistently assuring their integration in business strategies (i.e.

Together at Takeda, Quality conversations and other initiatives) nn nn EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: nn nn nn Critical Skills and Competencies nn nn nn Qualifications: nn A University degree Minimum 10 years working experience within HR in roles of increasing responsibility in Talent Management/LD/OC, or other HR area such as an Human Resources Business Partner nn nn Skills/competencies: nn Proven ability and experience in effectively interacting with and influencing senior level HR and business/function leaders to establish trust and credibility Strong experience in working across functions and in different cultures in high level complex environment Strong experience and influencing skills in a matrix organisation, Ability to work in and work through seemingly contradictory situations with a positive and solutions oriented mindset.

Experience in formulating HR Strategy Experience in vendor management Strong collaboration skills are required A strategic mindset and business focus Significant experience in the design and delivery of talent and organisation strategies and initiatives, assessment and development tools and methodologies.

Inspires commitment through a wide range of communication channels (meetings, writing, presentations).

Acts as a vocal and visible advocate for key business initiatives, influencing senior leaders and working to build buy-in and support within and across functions.

Creates functional strategies and goals that are closely aligned with Takedas objectives and develops metrics to track and assess performance.

Develops concise, strategic plans based on a clear understanding of the organizations strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

Adjusts functional or cross-functional plans and priorities in response to changes in strategic direction.

Seeks out and assigns developmental opportunities (projects, stretch assignments, cross-functional roles, etc.) in order to develop potential talent.
