Local candidates only, relocation assistance not available. Position may be worked remotely until teammates return to office setting.

How This Role Makes a Difference

You bring the perfect harmony of problem solving, customer orientation, effective communication and technical skills. As part of the Data Operations Sampling team reporting to the Sampling Manager, this critical teammate will interface with the internal business team to analyze and solve key application issues and enhance our application environment through contributions to product & service development as needed. 

Some examples of what you will achieve in this role include:

  • Develop, implement, test and maintain various applications utilized within the organization
  • Develop code, run stored procedures and scripts, create reports, perform database sampling and other various tasks in T-SQL or associated programs
  • Use knowledge of SQL and T-SQL to apply updates, extract data and process projects, including building SSIS packages and stored procedures to optimize processing time
  • Assist with integration activities between SPH SQL Systems and the Noble System used in the Call Center
  • Assist with processing of regulatory or client databases
  • Set-up and execute SSRS for reports as needed in SQL Reporting Services
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of SPH?s applications and development/production platforms, including but not limited to database technologies

What You Bring

  • Bachelor?s Degree in Science, Math or Engineering
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with SQL; Prefer Healthcare industry technical systems support experience
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Self-starter, highly motivated individual with strong problem solving & analytical skills
