Estimator – Public Adjuster

This is a Full-time position in Atlanta, GA posted November 10, 2021.

Position Overview

The role of an estimator at Noble Public Adjusting Group is to provide an accurate and well-documented estimate for insurance submittal purposes by investigating losses and determining the extent of property damage.

The estimator will report directly to the estimating manager and work in conjunction with claim specialists to provide accurate and well documented estimates.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
A strong knowledge of building codes and how to effectively apply them to job assignments.
Analyze supporting claim documentation and properly apply them to the estimates.
Ability to follow a standardized estimate format provided by the company with the ability to get things done and deliver results to agreed company standards.
Possess the skills to effectively work as a team and communicate efficiently as you will be working with several departments to ensure the estimating function is working to its full potential.

Uses appropriate interpersonal styles, clear communication and empathy to consistently and professionally build trust and confidence with clients who may have recently suffered great loss.

Ability to demonstrate a highly professional work ethic with a willingness to take initiative to solve problems.

Relishes on-going, self-initiated learning; assimilates new information quickly; welcomes feedback and applies knowledge to practical use on the job.

Required to use accurate pricing for materials and labor based on industry standards.
Experience using Xactimate.

You will be required to submit a final draft as part of the interview process.
Ability to contact clients and schedule property inspections in a timely manner.
Must be able to complete and submit estimates to the estimating manager within 72 hours for review after the property inspection is complete with an additional 48 hours to complete revisions.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 per year

Due to the nature of our company’s work, you must have the ability and be willing to obtain a Public Adjusting License within 3 months of hire date.
